Barnston Island Ramble

Meet at King George Station at 11:30am near the bike lockers. Half of the ride to Barnston is on the Wiggley Purple Line Bike Path through Green Timbers Urban Forest. The rest of the route is on roads or bike lanes. Barnston Island is very very flat. Getting there is mainly downhill; returning to KGS is mainly uphill. This is an easy no-drop ride; we will be content with 17-18 km/hr.
Riders who want a longer ride will meet at Starbucks on the corner of Cambie and 19th at 9:30am and we will leave at 10am.
